Accessibility Statement

We at Eldrotec Ltd. believe that the internet should be available and accessible to everyone, and we want to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstances and ability. To achieve this, we strive to adhere as strictly as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines according to Israeli Standard TI 5568 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Compliance with these guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairments, cognitive disabilities and more.

This site is made accessible according to these guidelines, and additionally uses various technologies designed to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We use an accessibility interface that allows people with specific disabilities and without bridging screen readers to adapt the website’s user interface (UI) and design it for their personal needs.

Screen Reader Usage and Keyboard Navigation on Our Website

Our website implements ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attribute techniques, along with various behavioral changes, to ensure that blind users visiting with screen readers can read, understand, and enjoy the site’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen reader enters the site, they can enter the screen reader profile to browse and operate the site efficiently. This way our site covers some of the most important screen reader requirements, along with console screenshots of code examples:

Additionally, the website uses an accessibility module from the accessibility union and operates in the background. The role of this module is to optimize the accessibility level of our website. This implementation adapts the functionality and behavior of the site for screen readers/devices used by blind users and keyboard functions used by people with motor impairments and/or without using any screen reader.

User Interface, Design and Readability Adjustments Available on Our Website

Font adjustments – users can increase and decrease its size, change its family (type), adjust spacing, alignment, line height and more.

Color adjustments – Users can select different color contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted, and black and white. Additionally, users can swap color schemes of titles, texts, and backgrounds, with over 7 different coloring options.

Animations – Users with epilepsy can stop all triggering animations at the click of a button. Interface-controlled animations include video clips, GIFs, and CSS flashing transitions.

Content highlighting – Users can choose to highlight important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight only focused or hovering elements.

Audio muting – Users with hearing devices may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playback. This option allows users to mute the entire site instantly.

Cognitive disorders – We use a search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, acronyms, slang and others.

Additional functions – We provide users the ability to change cursor color and pointer, use print mode, enable virtual keyboard, and many other functions.

Screen Reader Optimization: We provide screen readers with meaningful data using the ARIA attribute set. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogs (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful description based on image-object-recognition as ALT tags (alternative text) for images that are not described. It will also extract texts embedded in the image, using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology. To turn on screen reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 key combination. Screen reader users also receive automatic announcements to turn on Screen-reader mode as soon as they enter the website. These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.

Keyboard navigation optimization: The user has the ability to navigate the website using Tab and Shift+Tab keys, activate and browse with arrow keys, close them using Esc, press links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox components using arrow keys, and fill them using the Spacebar or Enter key. Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and skip-content menus, available at any time by pressing Alt+1. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and does not allow the focus drift away from it. Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.

Browser compatibility and assistive technology support: We aim to support the broadest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so that our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all the major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users.
